Lisa has been working at CLVH for over 20 years. She graduated from Purdue University as a veterinary technician. She and Dr. Nick have two children, two dogs, and two cats. Lisa enjoys competing in agility trials with her Standard Poodles. Sha also loves spending time at home with her family.
Susan first came to the clinic as a client and loved it so much that she begged Dr. Nick to give her a job! She is now in her 19th year at CLVH, after retiring from a 20 year executive career at Motorola. Susan dedicates her life to her two Doberman Pinschers, her Italian Greyhound mix, and her three kitties. She has a special interest in rescuing both senior pets and those with medical needs. When not at the clinic, she is passionate about canine training, gardening, and horses. Susan holds both a Bachelor of Science and Masters degree in Business Administration.
Amanda joined the Crystal Lake Veterinary family as a receptionist in June 2014. She started her journey working in the veterinary field while attending The University of Montana. Amanda finds great satisfaction in helping restore pets to good health when they initially come to the clinic ill or injured. She is proud of the quality care they receive here at CLVH. She is currently attending McHenry County College in the nursing program. Amanda lives in Crystal Lake with her Fiance’ and her pug Herbie. She enjoys going boating and spending time with family and friends.
Ashleigh joined the CLVH team in early 2012. She started her Veterinary Technician career in 2005 in Denver, Co. and has been fortunate to work in the field since. She is fully cross trained and proficient in both Technician and receptionist duties. Ashleigh lives in Marengo with her beautiful newborn daughter, 2 dogs Ollie and Lilah and her crazy cat Norman Bates. Besides animal welfare, her passions include crocheting, snowboarding, bike riding and traveling.
Brittany joined the CLVH family in May 2015. She is cross-trained as a receptionist and veterinary assistant. Brittany is passionate about helping abandoned or unwanted pets and donates her time to local rescues and shelters. You will often find her running rescue fundraisers and events. Her favorite part of her job is meeting all of the furry friends that visit the hospital; and, then seeing them benefit from the excellent care they receive at CLVH. Brittany enjoys spending time with her young son, Ryker, a cat named Maverick and her five Pitbull mixes Mahalla, Pepper, Kalani, Maisa and Mai Tai. She has a special interest in rescuing deaf, white Pitbulls … she has three of them!
Diane joined CLVH in 2011 and loves being part of such a caring, dedicated and knowledgeable team. She is cross-trained as both a receptionist and veterinary assistant. Diane and her husband have two daughters, one son and one granddaughter. She enjoys spending time with her family, two German Shepherds and kitty cat. Diane is also an avid equestrian. She loves trail rides with her Quarter Horse and dressage work with her Warmblood. She has a special interest in pet nutrition.
Dina joined CLVH in July of 2012. As a technician, her responsibilities include assisting doctors in appointments and surgeries, running lab work, performing x-rays and other veterinary procedures. Dina is also trained in reception duties and enjoys interacting with the clients and their animals. She and her husband live in Cary with their two crazy dogs. They enjoy traveling, volunteering in animal rescue and adoption and spending time with family and friends.
Dina’s favorite part of her job includes learning from such great veterinarians and helping improve the lives of animals. She feels very fortunate to fulfill a lifelong passion and looks forward to coming to work every day.
Jenn has been a member of the CLVH team since June of this year. She started grooming pets in 2013. She especially enjoys helping dogs and cats to feel better once they are clean, healthy, and pretty. She is active with local rescue activities and enjoys being a foster parent. When she is not busy grooming, Jenn enjoys spending time with her dog, Boomer.
Peggy joined Crystal Lake Veterinary Hospital in 2016 after moving to Crystal Lake with her family from Mid Missouri. She previously worked for the Human Society of Missouri at Longmeadow rehabilitation farm with farm animals from neglect and abuse cases. Peggy lives with her husband and daughter in Woodstock. They have a Paint horse and 2 dogs.
